Example of an introduction in Cannes.

I’m showing this video to highlight some of the communication skills that I propose.

The walk out trajectory moves toward the public.

This arrival is silent because the public will “scan” before listening.

The first words must answer the “what’s in it for me.” We call this a hook

The gestures are open toward the public, not too low or too high.

The eye contact goes from one “zone” to another to cover the theatre.

The introduction has been learned by heart in order to “connect.”

This was my introduction to a convention that I hosted at the film festival theatre in Cannes in February 2010 in front of 700 participants. I also trained the 8 speakers before the event.
