The first thing we need to do is learn the introduction off by heart.
This means no looking at note cards, the screen or at the computer at the beginning.
You need to start by telling them the “what’s in it for me.”
Remember the three 20’s…the first twenty words, the first twenty gestures, the first twenty seconds of just being there, the public will decide if they want to listen.
This is why I film my particiants so that they can see what they can improve.
